How it works
Nothing here is decided behind a curtain
PingBlip doesn't make up the world it shows you. Feeding asks a real service for a real answer, every spawn is a draw anyone can re-check, and every day is sealed.
The world is real
When you feed a blip, the game asks a live service and gets back an answer signed by whoever produced it. Right now the weather station reads:

Who your blips eat from
GAIA ↗
Live weather, air and power-grid readings from real stations.
Snack Cult · Slag Saints · Sugar Riot · Oil Slick
ATLAS ↗
The nearest live sensor to a place on the map.
Night Shift
MURMURATION ↗
One number agreed from many, with the outliers trimmed.
Alley Beasts
SORTES ↗
A fair draw that anyone can re-check afterwards.
Candle Pit · Velvet Vault · Chrome Gods
AESTUS ↗
A seal that can only be opened after a set time.

Who decides what spawns
Not us. The seed is built from the place, the layer and the hour. A verifiable random function (VRF) turns it into a number plus a proof, and the roster follows from that number. Open the proof of any catch and rebuild it yourself.
Every day is sealed
At the end of each day every proof goes into one fingerprint, a Merkle root. Change a single catch and the fingerprint no longer matches. The last few days:

Where these services live
They aren't PingBlip's alone. They belong to an open network where programs, AI agents among them, ask each other for answers and get a signed receipt back. PingBlip is one of their regular customers.
